Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing is currently looking for a Full Time Director of Staff Development Registered Nurse (RN) to assist with leading our nursing team! Requirements of the Director of Staff Development Registered Nurse (RN) :
Registered Nurse (RN) with effective leadership & supervisory skills in a long-term care setting
Certification needed
A minimum of three years of supervisory experience clinical services, infection control or a related area of responsibility.
Must have knowledge of state and federal regulations
Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
Responsibilities of the Director of Staff Development Registered Nurse (RN) :
Report all reportable diseases to the county and state health departments
Assist with in-services on wound prevention, wound care, ostomy care, and incontinence for the nursing staff.
Participate in planning, conducting, and scheduling in-service training classes for CNAs / GNAs and any other nursing personnel that provide instructions on “how to do the job,” and ensure a well-educated nursing service department.
Assist in standardizing the methods in which work will be accomplished.
Assist in training department personnel in identifying tasks that involve potential exposure to blood or body fluids.
