Receptionist
- Salary: $19.07/hr
- Status : Full Time, 40 hours per week
- Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:30-3:30
- Location: La Plata, MD

Duties of Position:
1. Answer incoming telephone calls for multiple phone line system and multiple staff. Includes relaying messages/information in a timely manner and field incoming calls for need and priority.
2. Greet visitors, accommodate their needs and requests. Maintain sign in/out register for all visitors.
3. Maintain daily attendance records of staff and individuals to include sign in at start of shifts and sign out throughout day. These records will also be used in the event of an evacuation drill or emergency situation.
4. Maintenance of calendar of trainings/meetings, etc.
5. Maintenance and coordination of conference/training/meeting room use/scheduling and post daily.
6. Securing additional meeting places outside agency when needed.
7. Maintain operation of voice mail, answering machine when office is closed.
8. Review of messages upon morning arrival.
9. Miscellaneous clerical/office duties/typing to include use of “MS Word” software.
10. Maintenance of agency vending machines ie: soda, snack, etc.
11. Prepare ponies for p.m. pick up by drivers.
12. Deliver supplies as needed.
13. Assist Executive Coordinator in monthly distribution of agency newsletter and/or agency mailers.

Licensing
1. Provide services that meet applicable licensing, certification, and accreditation requirements.
2. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the DDA Regulations.

1. Maintain accountability to the Director of Finance.
2. Acquire and maintain all required training certification.
3. Attend all additional meetings, trainings, and in-services as directed by supervisor, per regulations, and staff interest; adjusting schedule, as required.
4. Maintain a professional attitude with individuals, coworkers, caregivers, and other professionals.
5. Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
6. Participate in agency functions and fundraisers.
7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required within the scope of the position.
