We are currently seeking a Preschool Multi-Classroom Preschool Teacher with a Mandarin background to join our vibrant team. Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee and support multiple preschool classrooms, working closely with other teachers to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery, classroom management, and student engagement.
Lead the development and implementation of engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each child while aligning with the school’s curriculum.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to ensure smooth transitions between classrooms and to create a cohesive learning environment.
Serve as a mentor and guide to teaching assistants and support staff, promoting professional growth and teamwork.
Communicate regularly with families to provide updates on student progress and development.
Actively engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
Educational background with 12-semester units or 18-quarter early childhood education units covering areas such as child development, family and community, or program/curriculum development, OR a bachelor’s degree in Child Development.
Mandarin bilingualism required
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
Prior teaching experience with young students is preferred.
A team player who can collaborate with other educators to foster a supportive and enriching learning environment.
