Part-Time Summer Camp Bus Driver

Summary: As a Summer Camp Bus Driver at Carrington Academy, you will support the summer camp program by safely transporting school-age students on scheduled field trips. Camp support staff collaborate professionally with other staff, parents, and outside vendors to promote the general well-being of the school, and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.   Responsibilities: Culture: Positively influence your peers to work toward and meet the school’s vision of excellence. Provides and maintains quality education programs. Ensures successful implementation of approved curriculum. Health & Safety: Prioritizes a safe, clean, and attractive camp environment. Maintains compliance with camp standards and state licensing requirements as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and internal policies and procedures. Engage, Inspire, Experience: Our counselors are committed to creating an unforgettable experience for campers while empowering them to embrace challenges and new opportunities with courage, confidence, and determination.  Relationship Building: Have a strong desire to work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse staff and administrators. Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with the families, students, and community.   Minimum Qualifications:  Must be 25 years or older and willing to drive a small bus. Often carrying and lifting 25 pounds or less (25-50%) and occasionally carrying 25-50 pounds (10-25%). Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students.   Mission: We are more than just a school - we are a community!
