Summary:
As a Preschool Cook & Bus Driver at Chesterbrook Academy, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen, preparing meals, and assisting with kitchen purchases, as well as driving students to and from school. The preschool cook and bus driver is expected to participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.
Position: Preschool Cook & Bus Driver
Hours: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Location: 1050 Wildwood Centre Dr., Columbia, SC 29229
Responsibilities:

Health & Safety: Prioritizes a safe, clean, and attractive learning environment. Maintains compliance with accreditation and state licensing requirements as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and internal policies and procedures.
Educate, Inspire, Engage: Our Preschool Assistant Teachers are enthusiastic about developing life-long learners, genuinely care about children, and possess the sensitivity and knowledge to understand a child’s individual needs while fostering an inclusive classroom.
Relationship Building: Have a strong desire to work collaboratively with a talented team of diverse educators and administrators. Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with the families, students, and school community.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Required
Must be at least 25 years of age (bus driving requirements)
Often carrying and lifting 25 pounds or less (25-50%) and occasionally carrying 25-50 pounds (10-25%).
