About the Role
The Multi-Classroom Teacher & Administrative Support role at Kid’s World is a unique and dynamic position that combines responsibilities in teaching, classroom support, and front-office administration. This individual will assist in multiple classrooms as needed, provide administrative support, and ensure compliance with Title 22 licensing regulations.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working directly with children while also supporting the operational needs of the school. You will work as a Substitute Teacher, Teacher Assistant, and Receptionist, ensuring the school runs smoothly while providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students.
You Will…
In the Classroom:
Serve as a substitute teacher in the absence of lead teachers
Assist in multiple classrooms, supporting students and teachers as needed
Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
Foster a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students
Assist in behavior management and classroom organization
In the Office:
Provide administrative support to the front office, including answering phones, greeting families, and assisting with daily operations
Ensure compliance with Title 22 licensing regulations, keeping records up to date
Assist with student enrollment, attendance tracking, and document management
Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and outside agencies
Support scheduling and coordination of school events and meetings
What We Are Looking For
Twelve post-secondary semester units (or equivalent quarter units) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited college or university
At least six months of work experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program
Completion of administrative coursework or relevant experience in office management preferred
Knowledge of Title 22 licensing regulations and ability to ensure compliance
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and administrative software
Ability to multitask and manage both classroom and office responsibilities
A patient, flexible, and positive attitude
Ability to pass a state and federal background check
Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children (e.g., sitting on the floor, lifting, bending, engaging in active play)
