Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a dynamic science curriculum aligned with state and national standards. Foster a hands-on, inquiry-driven classroom that encourages students to explore scientific concepts through experiments, projects, and real-world applications. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement and academic growth. Assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success. Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). State teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification. Experience teaching upper elementary or middle school science preferred. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Passion for science education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
