Lead Mobile UI/UX Designer

NOTE:This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position.

Key Responsibilities:

• User-Centered Design: Create mobile-first designs that prioritize user needs, accessibility, and a seamless app experience ensuring usability across diverse devices and screen sizes.
• Prototyping & Wireframing: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. Ensure designs are responsive and align with product goals.
• UI Design: Implement and maintain a consistent design system, applying strong visual design principles to enhance the mobile interface.
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and adherence to business objectives.
• User Research: Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
• A/B Testing: Collaborate with other teams to conduct user tests, leveraging tools like Optimizely, VWO, or Google Optimize to enhance mobile app performance.
• Feature Optimization: Contribute to iterative design improvements for mobile user flows, focusing on conversion and retention metrics.
• High-Traffic Environments: Design user interfaces optimized for scalability and seamless functionality in high-traffic scenarios.
• Compliance Awareness: Ensure mobile designs align with industry standards, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and fintech compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of professional experience in website and mobile application design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful high-impact, high-traffic projects.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a lead role, overseeing UI/UX designers and driving collaborative design initiatives.
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud. Familiarity with A/B testing tools and methods is a plus.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, usability principles, and mobile-first design practices.
• Ability to interpret user data and incorporate feedback into actionable design improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present designs and insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Experience in the fintech sector is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex design challenges with innovative and user-centered solutions.
