This position is weekdays Full-Time and may also include some evenings for community events as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops an activities program based on our residents interests, needs, and abilities, enhancing their wellness and quality of life.
- Implements program that helps meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental needs of the residents.
- Will be the manager to a full time activities assistant who works Tuesday - Saturdays.
- Creates an activities calendar that highlights the scheduled activities, events, and outings.
- Establishes and maintains a volunteer program through recruiting and provides training and support for our volunteers.
- Completes new resident and quarterly assessments to identify our residents interests.
- Posting weekly social media posts.
- Oversees weekly social media posts for the community.
- Oversees transportation program for weekly Dr. appointments and outings
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum experience of (1) year in therapeutic recreation and/or senior activities role at a senior living, hospice, in-home health care, or skilled nursing facility
- Must have a drivers license and must be able to drive community bus for transportation appointments and outings.
- Must be 25 years old due to car insurance purposes in order to drive community bus for outing.
- Will need to have exceptional problem-solving and time management skills.
- The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Possess good interpersonal communication skills.

Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
