As the Operations Lead & Mechanic, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Operations & Sales Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our business. From overseeing small engine repair and maintenance to assisting with team training, lawn mowing, fertilization applications, pest control, managing building organization, and cleanliness, and fostering customer relationships, this dynamic role is perfect for someone who loves variety and has a knack for problem-solving. While sales will be an important part of the role, your primary focus will be on operations and team support. Your day might include:
- Collaborating directly with the Operations Manager to ensure team and operational success.
- Training team members to deliver excellent service.
- Organizing supplies and equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
- Diagnosing and repairing small engines, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other equipment.
- Performing lawn care applications with precision and care.
- Conducting pest control measures to ensure properties remain pest-free.
- Conducting routine maintenance on pickups and business vehicles.
- Managing building organization, cleanliness, and upkeep to maintain a professional and efficient workspace.
- Identifying opportunities to grow our customer base, building relationships with potential clients, and promoting our services to meet customer needs.
- Connecting with customers to address challenges, explore new opportunities, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Wrapping up the day by ensuring staff feel supported and set up for success.

Responsibilities You’ll Love:
Administrative & Organization
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to execute strategies that align with our business goals.
- Keep our products, trucks, and inventory well-organized and ready for action.
- Help track and manage supplies like fertilizers, pesticides, and tools.
- Attend weekly team meetings to share ideas, solve problems, and celebrate wins.
Team Training & Support
- Being a mentor and coach to team members, helping them succeed in their roles.
- Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure everyone feels confident, supported, and ready to shine.
- Conduct service audits to maintain our high-quality standards.
- Assist in hiring amazing new team members who share our values.
Mechanic Duties
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other essential equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on company pickups and trailers.
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance schedules.
Operations, Pest Control & Building Management
- Prepare products and allocate resources so the team can deliver exceptional service.
- Oversee and participate in pest control tasks to maintain quality and safety at customer properties.
- Oversee and participate in building management tasks, including organization, cleanliness, and upkeep of business property.
- Work alongside staff to maintain equipment, properties, and outdoor spaces.
- Ensuring safety and quality are at the forefront of everything we do.
- Bring fresh ideas for improving processes and operations.
Sales & Customer Relations
- Actively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services that benefit customers while aligning with their needs.
- Build strong relationships with existing customers to foster loyalty and long-term partnerships.
- Proactively seek out and engage with potential customers to grow our client base.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to execute sales strategies that align with company goals.
- Represent the company at community events or networking opportunities to promote services.
