Escorting – Spring Grove
This position operates in a professional office environment and consistent driving of company vehicles. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers and fax machines. This role will utilize company cars to provide security and escort duties.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. Required to lift up to 30 pounds. Repetitive motion includes driving.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time Non-Exempt position. Business days and hours of work are:
Various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Hourly: $15.50/hr
Travel
Local travel is required between campuses for support.

- Communication both verbal and written
- Interface with customers in-person
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must be willing to work Sundays
Escorting – Spring Grove
- Meet with sexton of the day to coordinate escort route for each funeral service.
- Assist funeral directors at site with funeral flower and remove funeral flags from cars.
- Collect burial transit permit from funeral director.
- During the summer months of June, July, and August supply one cooler of water for each service site.
- Direct cars and traffic at main gate when services are at the Norman Chapel or Memorial Mausoleum.
- Open and close gates on a daily basis
- Putting the flags up in the morning and taking them down during the evening.
- Securing and alarming all buildings.
- Assisting customers when needed.
- Assist with weddings at the Norman Chapel when needed.
- Interoffice mail runs between GMFH, SG and OH.
- Bank run to U.S. Bank to retrieve deposit receipts from previous day deposit.
- Responsible for filling out a daily security report at the end of each shift.
- Responsible for leaving voice mail messages at the end of each shift.
- Responsible for car count at each gate.
- Responsible for cistern and propane readings and pumping water to reservoir when needed.
- Fueling vehicles and washing cars when needed.
- S.O.P. of all vehicles and oil changes when needed.
- Assembling vases when needed and placing in vase racks.
- Run errands when needed.
