What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Department RN position at Spring Health?
Essential Functions:
- Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within scope of practice
- Provide patient education tailored to individual needs
- Implement physician orders and utilize approved protocols
- Coordinate care among the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
Experience:
- Previous experience in a clinical nursing setting (preferred)
- Hospital experience (preferred)
Licensure & Certifications (Required):
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wyoming, in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – must be current or obtained within 60 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) – required within 6 months of hire
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required within 6 months of hire
- QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training – must be completed within 1 year of hire
- Certification in de-escalation techniques – required within 6 months
- Completion of procedural sedation module – required within 6 months, renewed every 2 years
- ENPC or ATCN – highly recommended

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $69.00 - $69.56 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
