Travel Nurse Requirements:
- COVID Vaccination: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions available upon request).

Position Overview:
- Unit: 28-bed unit caring for post-operative surgical patients.
- Nursing Process: Contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care, utilizing the nursing process within an interdisciplinary team.
- EMR System: EPIC
- OT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.25x
Overtime (OT) Billing:
- If scheduled for 36-40 hours/week, OT is billed after 40 hours.
- If scheduled for 48 hours/week, OT is billed after 48 hours.
- NBO: 8 hours
Position Details:
- Not a PACU Position – This is a Med-Surg need.
- Nurses are trained to read telemetry strips and handle cardiac drips (e.g., Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lasix, Insulin) with state-of-the-art bedside monitors in every patient room.
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:
- Days (N:P): 1:4
- Nights (N:P): 1:4/5
Submission Requirements:
- 2 years of current Med-Surg, PACU, and/or post-operative care experience (Required)
- Telemetry strip reading experience (Required)

- Copy of BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
