Position: Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health Unit
License Required: Active Wisconsin RN License
Certifications Required: CPR; Flu Vaccination Required
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health unit. The ideal candidate will be skilled in psychiatric nursing, patient-centered care, and able to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in delivering care to patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with approved nursing techniques, hospital policies, standards of care, and applicable state laws.
- Accurately document patient care and interventions according to hospital and unit standards.
- Develop, initiate, and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating physician orders, patient needs, and family education.
- Actively participate in department or unit-based performance improvement initiatives, which may include shared governance.
- Provide clinical expertise and support across units or departments to align with the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
- Use critical thinking and sound judgment in promoting patient safety and enhancing the patient experience; escalate concerns appropriately through the chain of command.

Pay: $56.85 - $63.50 per hour
