Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on assessment results
- Train and supervise direct care staff weekly at minimum
-Provide support and training to caregivers
- Provide direct therapy as needed to prevent service lapses or troubleshoot programming
- Monitor and evaluate progress of individuals receiving behavioral therapy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children
- Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with people with developmental disabilities, particularly children. They will possess excellent assessment and diagnostic skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate medical documentation. The candidate must also demonstrate a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with HIPAA regulations.
