Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Part-Time Sushi Chef to create high-quality sushi dishes that meet the highest standards of excellence. As a Sushi Chef at our prestigious golf club, you will play a key role in providing a memorable dining experience for our members and their guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of traditional and contemporary sushi dishes, ensuring they meet the club’s high standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar and kitchen area.
- Manage and prepare fresh ingredients, including fish, vegetables, and other sushi staples.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new and seasonal menu items.
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with members and guests, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-end environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef, ideally in a high-end or fine dining setting.
- Strong knowledge of traditional sushi preparation techniques, as well as modern twists.
- Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for culinary arts and creating exceptional dining experiences.
