Physical Therapist- Full time
Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to our residents in accordance with their individualized treatment plans.
Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of residents to assess their physical capabilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to address residents' mobility, strength, balance, and pain management needs.
- Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Provide education to residents and their families regarding exercises, techniques, and strategies to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Physical Therapist Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a valid license to practice in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a physical therapist, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric setting.
- Strong clinical skills with expertise in evaluating and treating a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, neurological, and functional impairments.
