What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator for Nursing Team position at Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center?
Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing is looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful person who is capable of self-initiative. This role will support the nursing team members in accordance with CMS Guidelines including correct calculation and reporting of PPD standards.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Coordinating and implementing scheduling of nursing team and other administrative activities
Creating and updating monthly scheduling calendars, completing and updating deployment sheets in conjunction with schedule
Calculating labor for each day (PPD) and reporting concerns to the Director of Nursing
Coordinating necessary paperwork with managers
Performing data entry of paperwork (time sheets, PTO requests, etc.)
Providing quality service to external and internal clients
Performing miscellaneous administrative duties including as needed
Operating personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software
Exercising administrative judgment; assuming responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results impacting staff, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area
Coordinating and confirming agency placement as needed, reviewing invoices promptly, and forwarding them to accounts payable
Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Excellent organization skills
Must complete PA Background check successfully, Spring Hill Rehabilitation is an EOE
