Social Services Director

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Services Director to join our us and lead our team in enhancing the well-being of our residents.
Social Services Director Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee social services programs and initiatives that address the needs of residents.
- Conduct assessments of residents’ social, emotional, and psychological needs, and create individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Advocate for residents and their families, providing support, counseling, and guidance as needed.
- Coordinate with community resources, agencies, and other external partners to secure additional services and support for residents.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
- Manage and supervise social services staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of resident interactions and service delivery.
- Facilitate resident and family meetings, providing clear communication and support throughout the care process.
- Develop and implement programs and activities that promote resident engagement and well-being.
Social Services Director Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social services, preferably in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of social work principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and staff.
