We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas in our hotel. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that every guest has a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, to meet high cleanliness standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a welcoming environment.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and refreshments in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
- Assist in the cleaning of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Skills
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and practices within the hotel industry.
- Proficient in housekeeping management techniques to ensure efficient operations.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces (carpets, tiles, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
