Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and common areas in our establishment. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, floors, and furniture, to meet Marriott standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized efficiently.
- Assist in the cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to custodial work.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
