Location: Middletown, OH
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
We are seeking an energetic and creative Director of Resident Engagement to lead engaging programs that enhance residents' social, physical, and emotional well-being. This role is responsible for planning and implementing life-enriching activities, overseeing the Spring Hills Recreation Program, and managing the recreation team. The Director reports to the Executive Director and works closely with all departments to ensure an active and fulfilling resident experience.
Key Responsibilities as Director of Resident Engagement:
Develop and coordinate a variety of social, fitness, wellness, and educational programs.
Encourage resident participation and engagement.
Train, and lead recreational staff and volunteers.
Oversee department budget, documentation, and supply management.
Coordinate outings, transportation, and special events.
Collaborate with other departments for shared programming.
Organize family education sessions, support groups, and community outreach.
Qualifications for Director of Resident Engagement:
Bachelor’s degree in recreation, social work, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in activity planning and staff supervision, preferably in senior living.
Knowledge of dementia care and specialized programming.
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
