Shift: Part-Time, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM every Friday, including every other weekend

Position Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Spring Hills Somerset, you will provide professional nursing care to our residents, implementing treatment orders in accordance with facility policies and procedures. You will assess resident treatment needs, maintain medical records, and ensure the highest standards of care.
Essential Functions:
Supervise and evaluate direct resident care, initiating appropriate actions as necessary.
Administer medications accurately and timely while monitoring for effectiveness and adverse effects.
Document nursing care provided, medication administration, and residents' responses to treatments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations within your assigned unit.
Manage narcotic counts and oversee the emergency medication kits.
Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, completing necessary documentation.
Assess and report changes in resident conditions, including skin assessments and other vital health indicators.
Collaborate with nursing assistants and provide guidance on care related to treatment plans.
Participate in quality assurance duties and provide clear communication to the oncoming Charge Nurse.
Qualifications:
Current and valid New Jersey LPN License with no restrictions or suspensions.
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics.
