The ideal candidate will enhance residents’ quality of life through engaging activities and safe transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing activities based on residents’ interests
- Complete and update activity assessments
- Document assessments and interactions per regulations
- Participate in resident care conferences
- Organize indoor and outdoor activities, including evening and weekend events
- Provide safe transportation for residents to appointments and outings
- Schedule and supervise volunteers
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and manage supplies
- A passion for enhancing residents’ quality of life
- Strong communication skills to engage with residents and families
- Attention to detail for managing documentation and care plans
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- A welcoming and inclusive approach
- An Associate’s degree, technical school equivalent, or six months of related experience
- Previous experience in senior living or healthcare is a plus
