Massage Therapist Job Description:
The Physical Therapist will provide therapeutic and relaxing massages to clients, aiming to improve circulation, promote relaxation, and relieve stress, pain, and injuries. They manipulate soft tissues and joints using various techniques and tools to address client-specific needs. Key Responsibilities:

- Client Consultation: Discussing client symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Assessment: Evaluating clients before and during massages to identify painful or tense areas.
- Massage Technique: Applying various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue) to manipulate muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
- Joint Mobilization: Increasing range of motion through joint mobilization techniques.
- Guidance and Education: Providing advice on stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and posture.
- Documentation: Recording client conditions and progress.
- Workspace Maintenance: Ensuring a clean and sanitized workspace and equipment.
- Client Education: Explaining massage techniques and benefits.
- Customer Service: Providing a positive and relaxing experience for clients.
Skills and Qualifications:

- Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology: Understanding the human body and how massage affects it.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in various massage techniques.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Building rapport with clients and explaining techniques clearly.

Job Duties:
- Organizing and managing the front desk operations
- Greeting guests
- Scheduling appointments
- Performing general housekeeping duties with emphasis on anti-bacterial hygiene protocols
- Assisting with special activities (July 4th activities, Thanksgiving activities, etc.)
Schedule: Typical schedule for this position is afternoons and weekends.
Candidates must be able to work some holidays, as our team shares holiday coverage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
- Massage Therapist License
- Available Weekends/Holidays
- Lifting capabilities a must
- Reliable Transportation
- Strong service orientation and attitude; the ability to provide members, guests and staff with exceptional service in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
