Overview:
We are looking for an outgoing individual interested in working in an enjoyable, fun environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the culinary industry and a desire to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate may have some previous experience in the culinary industry, but it is not required. We offer opportunities for growth for motivated individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment
- Ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to food safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Follow proper sanitation procedures and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant, hotel, hospitality, catering, or food service industry is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects when necessary
