What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reference Librarian - Programming position at Spring Lake District Library?
Spring Lake District Library is seeking energetic and organized applicants for the part-time position of Reference Librarian - Programming. This position will plan and execute library programs for all ages and use library technology to assist and instruct library patrons with reference questions and other library techniques. Some evenings may be required. This position will work a regular weekend rotation. Training is provided.
Master’s degree in information or library science from an American Library Association accredited library school is required. Must have experience working with the public, a strong commitment to customer service, and be comfortable with technology. This is a part-time position that starts at $21.17 an hour. We are currently advertising for a Reference Librarian or a Reference Paraprofessional to join our team. This is a single position that we are filling at this time.
