Nutrition Services/Part-Time Kitchen Worker

Key Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service to our students, staff and guests who dine in our cafeterias
- Following food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure the safety of our guests
In this role, you will work under the supervision of the kitchen manager performing entry-level duties including but not limited to:
- Food preparation
- Serving
- Cashiering
- Operating a dishmachine
Maintaining a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with all students, staff and co-workers is essential for this position.
You may be required to attend job-related training classes and workshops to meet the professional standards guidelines of 4 hours per year.
This position requires adherence to Department Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
A high standard of knowledge regarding food safety and sanitation pursuant to the Minnesota Food Code is necessary for this role.
The successful candidate must have working knowledge of computers, including email.
Experience working in the food service industry is preferred.
