About the Position
We are seeking a part-time nutrition services associate to join our team at Spring Lake Park High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our students, staff, and guests who dine in our cafeterias.

Responsibilities
The part-time nutrition services associate will perform duties as assigned by the kitchen manager, including but not limited to:
- Food prep
- Serve
- Cashier
- Operate a dishmachine
The ideal candidate will maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with all students, staff, and co-workers. They must also attend job-related training classes and workshops in order to meet the professional standards guidelines of 4 hours/year.
The part-time nutrition services associate will follow Department Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) to ensure high standards and working knowledge of food safety and sanitation pursuant to the Minnesota Food Code.
Qualifications
- Earned a high school diploma or equivalent
- Completed and passed a background check and a pre-work physical
- Provided and passed 3 professional reference checks
- Working knowledge of computers, including email
Experience working in the food service industry is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a pleasant disposition towards students while serving breakfast and lunch.
