Job Summary

Spring Mill Country Club is seeking an experienced and personable On-Call Banquet Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service for private events, weddings, corporate gatherings, and special occasions. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, customer service, and creating memorable guest experiences. This position offers flexibility with shifts based on event schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and break down the bar area before and after events.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company and event standards.
• Engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner while ensuring responsible alcohol service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the event.
• Follow all state and local liquor laws and company policies regarding responsible beverage service.
• Process payments or drink tickets as required.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking bar supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with banquet staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth service.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (or meet legal age requirements).
• Previous bartending experience in a banquet, catering, or high-volume setting preferred.
• Knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• RAMP responsible beverage service certification preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
