Location: 5422 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29072
Position: Full-Time Housekeeper
Schedule: Daytime Hours, Weekends as needed
Pay: $14.00 per hour, Bi-Weekly Pay Cycle

Job Responsibilities:
- Follow daily cleaning schedules for resident apartments and common areas to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Coordinate housekeeping services with the Wellness Staff for cleaning assignments in residents' living or recreational areas.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sanitizing, scrubbing, polishing, washing windows, and cleaning bathrooms in resident rooms and common areas.
- Turnover resident rooms, including moving furniture, as required.
- Wash, fold, and distribute laundry for the facility and residents.
- Safely dispose of trash, waste, and other materials.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of proper equipment usage and sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Right-to-Know regulations, including Universal Worker Precautions for housekeeping chemicals.
- Ability to detect odors, identify spots and spills, and move housekeeping carts with cleaning equipment.
- Compassion for the elderly and an understanding of the aging process.
- Respect for residents' privacy and preferences, including room arrangement and personal items. Always knock before entering resident rooms.
- Positive attitude and ability to foster loyalty within the community and among staff.
