Spring Oak Senior Living is actively seeking a Dietary Aide for our York, SC location. The Dietary Aide is responsible for serving quality food, prepared in a sanitary manner in compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulatory rules and regulations.

Location: 1020 N. Congress Street, York SC 29745
Schedule: Full Time/flexible. Monday-Friday, Weekends
Pay: $15.00 Per Hour, Bi-Weekly Pay cycle
General Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serving quality food, prepared in a sanitary manner in compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulatory rules and regulations, at designated times exceeding hospitality and service standards.
-Clears off and sets up table place settings.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen including washing dishes, pots, pans, cups, glasses and utensils.
-Keeps the food preparation areas, dining area, stock room and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
Job Requirements include and are not limited to:
-The ability to take food orders from the residents and assist residents with their food choices, if asked.
-Serve food and beverages with a smile and assist residents with meal related questions.
-Know residents by name and be aware of their likes, dislikes and possible food restrictions.
-Be aware of resident rights and their right to choose.
-Must have compassion for the elderly and an understanding of the aging process.
-Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and visitors of AL community and governmental agencies for the safety of the resident.
-Must demonstrate overall positive image and attitude, must be neat, clean and well-groomed.
-Carry out other duties as assigned.
