Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, with a proven track record in kitchen management. As a Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in training and developing staff, managing inventory, and maintaining an efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Train, develop, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and manage costs effectively.
  • Handle cash management processes, including cash handling procedures within the kitchen environment.
  • Utilize POS systems for order processing and tracking sales effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery during peak hours.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in kitchen management within the food industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
  • Experience in training development for culinary staff is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and inventory control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments.

Pay: $54,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
