The Paraprofessional will engage with students, implement lesson plans, and contribute to behavior management strategies to enhance student success.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in preparing and implementing lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Support students with individualized attention, focusing on literacy education and math skills.
- Engage in behavior management techniques to promote a respectful and conducive learning atmosphere.
- Facilitate small group activities and provide one-on-one support to students as needed.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding individual student needs.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with educators to develop strategies for effective classroom management.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to childcare and education.
Experience
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in behavior management are highly desirable.
- Previous experience in childcare or related fields will be considered an asset.
- A passion for educating young minds and supporting their academic growth is essential.
