Description
This position is responsible billing claims for multi-clinics throughout Spring View Medical Group. Assist with month end reporting and reconciling information with data for month end preparation. This position is responsible for monthly SOX Audits for each clinic under Spring View Medical Group that provide services at Spring View Hospital, and will complete in accordance with the standards, these reports will be completed by the 10th of every month. Also, responsible for working closely with Market Director and Accounting on as needed reports for providers that need to be completed. This position will also work on Accounts Receivable with Outstanding claims to reconcile issue and get the claim processed timely for payment. Other duties as assigned in accordance with Market Director discretion.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous medical office billing and coding experience required
- Excellent telephone and communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficient in PC skills with the ability to use the office’s systems, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Excel, Word
- Experience using Athena Medical Record system preferred
