Position Summary: The LNA/RA is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living memory care neighborhoods The LNA/RA role includes providing hands-on care, physical and emotional support, while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

- High School diploma / GED accepted and maybe required per state regulations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- May have LNA license; Medication Supervision Certification is a plus
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred and desire to serve and care for seniors
- Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest
- Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Must possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Maintains universal care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
- Ability to stand/walk 4-7 hours per during an 8 hour shift
- Maintains proper certifications as required by the state and participates in all required training
Essential Duties
- Observes, reports, and documents symptoms and conditions of residents
- Reviews, reads, notates, and initializes daily logs to document and learn about pertinent information and any resident’s physical and/or behavioral changes
- Helps maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident adhering to the standards of Resident Rights
- Strives to understand and respond to each resident with empathy; always mindful of the resident’s unique communication patterns and history
- Checks residents for changes in skin condition, side effects of medication, and overall health conditions
- Ensures established safety procedures are being followed at all times
- Maintains universal care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
