Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the residents, guests, and team members. The Maintenance Director oversees maintenance and housekeeping staff.

Experience and Qualifications:

- One year maintenance and/or housekeeping experience required
- Technical school education preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Ability to delegate assignments based on team member’s skills and abilities
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance
- Possess an understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, and life and safety regulations
- Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of normal working hours
- Able to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision; following all community procedures and guidelines and having the ability to follow-through on assigned tasks
Essential Duties:
- Ensure appropriate staff is on hand to complete all maintenance tasks that need to be completed
- Perform building and equipment repairs
- Maintain all tools and repair parts
- Facilitates fire drills and other emergency preparedness training as assigned by Executive Director
- Work with heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems, refrigeration systems, motors, fans, and emergency generators
- Perform routine preventative maintenance as needed
- Perform carpet and hard surface floor repairs and maintenance
- Ensure rooms are ready and presentable for tours and move-ins
- Comply with all infection control techniques and placement of bio-hazard containers and removal techniques
- Inventory management of equipment and products
- Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste, damage to areas and equipment, and to prevent accidents
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
