Travel CT Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Job Summary:
This is a 13-week contract opportunity requiring the technologist to work 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CT imaging procedures and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
- Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly
- Use radiation safety protocols to minimize patient exposure
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiology or Radiation Therapy
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
