Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled computed tomography technologist to join our team on a travel assignment basis in Oregon City, Oregon. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to delivering high-quality patient care by producing precise diagnostic images using computed tomography scanners.
Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
- Assisting patients with positioning and preparation for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety
- Maintaining equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting technical issues as needed
- Collaborating with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Providing exceptional patient care and communication throughout the imaging process
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) or Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) with current licensure
- At least 2 years of experience working as a CT technologist in a fast-paced medical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively interact with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in producing high-quality diagnostic images
