Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment. This will include preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining instructions and positioning them correctly
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A valid state license as an x-ray technologist or registered technologist (RT) in the field of interventional radiology
- 1-2 years of experience working in interventional radiology
- Excellent technical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
This is a travel assignment with a duration of 13 weeks and a shift schedule of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced hospital environment and will be required to lift and move patients as needed.
