**Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at a hospital in Florence, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interventional radiology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and administering contrast media as needed.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and CT scanners, to obtain high-quality images of the patient's body.
- Assist physicians during procedures by providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
**Requirements:
- Current licensure or certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- 2 years of experience in interventional radiology, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and protocols.
