Job Description
The successful Travel CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computerized tomography scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and immobilizing them as needed
- Follow established protocols for image acquisition and processing
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in CT
- At least 1 year of experience working as a CT Technologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
