We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team as a travel staff member in Munster, Indiana. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients, collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses, and maintaining equipment and supplies while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT scans to obtain diagnostic images of patients
- Prepare patients for scans, including positioning and immobilization
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography (CT)
- 1 year of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of CT scanning principles and procedures
Working Conditions:
- Work in a fast-paced hospital or clinical environment
- Stand for long periods and lift patients as needed
- Exposure to ionizing radiation
