The ideal candidate for this role is a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist with excellent communication and technical skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for catheterization procedures by positioning them comfortably, explaining the procedure, and answering any questions they may have.
- Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopes and ultrasound machines to capture images of the heart and blood vessels.
- Maintain accurate records of patient data, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
