Job Description: Tax Professional (Potential to Convert)
Locations:
- Two openings in Sanford, Maine
- Two openings in Biddeford, Maine
- Two openings in Portland, Maine
Training Details:
Comprehensive training will be provided from January 13th through January 15th, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. All training sessions will be held at the Portland branch for candidates from all locations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused individuals to assist clients with filing their individual tax returns. As a Tax Professional, you will help clients by gathering and entering their data into our tax software and ensuring accurate and efficient processing. While prior tax preparation experience is not required, a basic understanding of tax forms and processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete accurate tax returns while providing exceptional client service.
- Conduct tax interviews to gather necessary information from clients.
- Accurately input tax information into the designated software.
- Maintain client confidentiality and ensure data privacy.
- Recommend additional products and services as appropriate.
- Continuously build your tax knowledge and expertise.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong customer service skills (tax preparation experience is a plus).
- Data entry experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers (training will be provided).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
