As the Director of Nursing at SpringBrook Assisted Living, you will play a vital role in overseeing nursing operations and ensuring high-quality care for our residents. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nurse and nurse aide staff to ensure optimal resident care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs while promoting their rights and dignity.
- Oversee medical record management and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct regular reviews of documentation to maintain high standards of care quality.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care services.
- Provide training and support for nurses and nurse aides on best practices in resident care.
- Foster a culture of respect, safety, and compassion within the assisted living community.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license (RN).
- Previous experience in nursing administration or management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience in developing care plans that prioritize resident rights and dignity.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide nursing staff effectively.
- Familiarity with state RCAC and CBRF regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong documentation review skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in resident care records.
