What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Manager- RTF position at SpringBrook Behavioral Health System?
- The Nurse Manager for the Residential Treatment department assumes a supportive and active role in the day to day management of the nursing units and personnel. Among his/her responsibilities are acting as communications liaison for the staff and the Director of Nursing/ Assistant Director of Nursing, serving as a role model and resource person, monitoring the quality of care delivered, and assuming managerial duties as delegated by the Director of Nursing or designee . Strong leadership experience required. Candidates must have experience working with children- adolescents with Autism experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Graduate of an accredited college of nursing. Bachelor's degree in nursing, Master’s Degree and Certification in psychiatric nursing preferred.
EXPERIENCE: At least two to five years experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing or equivalent. Demonstrated leadership ability as charge nurse and\ or other management roles.
LICENSURE: Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of South Carolina.
