Where You Fit :

Springbrook Software is actively seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to expand our reach in key markets. In this role, you will drive our growth by generating new sales leads, qualifying prospects, and scheduling meetings for our sales executives. You'll play a crucial role in our team, providing weekly reports on your progress and contributing directly to our sales strategy. You will also work closely with marketing with customer outreach and tradeshow support. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work schedule, empowering you to excel in a supportive, results-oriented environment.

This position has a preference for on-site candidates in American Fork, UT but will consider qualified remote applicants.

Responsibilities :

  • Utilize Salesforce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities within the public sector vertical.
  • Identify the prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products / services.
  • Build relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
  • Report to the sales team on weekly results.
  • Manage trade show registration / sponsorship
  • Pack and ship trade show materials
  • Coordinate with sales team to ensure return of company property from trade shows
  • Maintain general awareness of Springbrook security and privacy policies
  • Report any security incident or suspected security incident to the Springbrook Incident Response Team

Required Qualifications :

  • 2 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets in the public sector vertical.
  • Bachelor's degree or an additional 2 years of relevant work experience (sales, cold calling, prospecting, sales support, etc.)
  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes in the public sector vertical.
  • Experience providing sales or sales support for SaaS or cloud-based software products.
  • Experience cold calling.
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM software.
