What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketer for Behavioral Health Facilty position at Springbrook Hospital?
The Marketing/Outreach Specialist is pivotal in the assistance of marketing to programs and services to prospective referral resources and in securing new patient referral relationships for our addiction treatment programs.

Responsibilities:
1. Assists in all areas in the development of marketing/PR materials and events that will be utilized for building relationships with senior executives, medical professionals and other key decision maker’s, through presentations, seminars, trade shows, cold calling and telemarketing that will result in new patient referrals.
2. Directly assists and supports marketing department personnel at key meetings with executive level audiences (travel runs roughly 25-30%) and can encompass nights and weekends.
3. Performs follow-ups as directed by management on prospect meetings and assist in the successful negotiation and acquisition of new referral/patient streams from targeted groups or individuals.
4. Develops and assists in the ongoing timely preparation of accurate written reports which detail and monitor individual progress against monthly, quarterly and annual goals and will also participate in the presentation of reports to internal audiences.
5. Contributes to the development of and participates in department-wide campaigns, seminars and all other initiatives as directed by management.
6. Demonstrates punctuality, organization and proficiency in all areas of scheduling, filing, meetings, presentation and customer relations.
7. Demonstrates high proficiency in all computer related applications - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, FrontPage and able to learn Photoshop, etc.
8. Demonstrates initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership of work to meet monthly, quarterly and annual marketing goals in both written and verbal formats.
9. Demonstrates ability to find and manage vendors to successful fulfillment of all marketing objectives.
Education:
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university; professional experience may substitute for degree requirement. Must be computer literate.
Valid Driver’s License Required
Work Experience:
A minimum of one year of marketing experience; preferably in a health care delivery system setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of this position, meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. The position operates in a professional environment and routinely requires use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and filing cabinets.
