Position Summary:

The Assistant Director leads a team of professionals who are facilitators, mentors, and agents for meaningful choice for the people who chose to make a Springbrook home their home.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
The Community Homes Assistant Director is a creative, flexible, organized, and compassionate leader, who connects the program’s vision and strategy with their team’s needs and the daily operation of each home. The Assistant Director leads a team of professionals who are facilitators, mentors, and agents for meaningful choice for the people who chose to make a Springbrook home their home.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of resident planning
- Hire, train, supervise, engagement and performance management of residential managers
- Follow all 633/624/625 regulations, Incident Reporting, investigation process, IRMA entry, follow up and completion of recommendations as needed.
- Conduct internal investigations
- Department wide management and oversight of data systems.
- Participate in a department wide on call schedule providing coverage and oversight.
- Coordinating Medicaid/SSI/SNAP eligibility and recertification.
- Conduct department program audits as needed.
- Liaison with family members, advocates, legal guardians, and other treatment team members.

- Must complete Springbrook New Manager Orientation, if not previously completed
- Must complete Leadership Training Program within 6 months, if not previously completed
- Minimum four (4) years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ supervisory experience.
- Must be able to work to work a flexible schedule.
- Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and email applications, especially Microsoft Excel, outlook, and Word; have the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50lbs.
- Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
- Be able to perform all physical interventions.
