Salary: As a Direct Support Professional at Springbrook NY Inc, you can earn a competitive salary ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
Job Description: In this role, you will provide assistance to individuals receiving services throughout all aspects of their lives, across educational, residential, and community environments. You will support activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, and promote choice and independence while providing protective oversight.
You will work closely with our team to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the program, adhering to all Springbrook policies and State regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory overtime as necessary, and be willing to relocate to other locations based on business needs.
Additionally, you will require professional verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in using computer software, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word, and the ability to lift 50 lbs independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.
